I have been connecting my Sony Vaio VGN-FE21M for several months with the LG LCD monitor to watch TV while online. Then yesterday all of the sudden the laptop shows blank screen, but the LG monitor is fine. Can you advice please? Thank you.

Try cleaning the fan, vents and heatsink for starters. Has it been overheating? Your Sony vaio does not have any TV-out port to output the display on any analog TV. You can use your VGA (by using VGA cable) port to output your laptop on LCD / Plasma / LED TV (with a VGA port also)). If you still want to project to analog TV via the VGA port, you need to find a VGA to RGB adaptor. But bare in mind, it's hard to find one.
VGA port is like the port on computer monitor. RBG consist of three colored port.

Seems to me that the LCD cables are not properly atached.
Double check all the LCD connections.
Your problem will be solved.

Yes, on the right side of your laptop is a vga port for an external monitor.

The monitor switch on a Sony is usually done by holding down the Fn key and tapping one of the F keys that has the icon of a monitor on it, sometimes you have to tap that key a couple of time for the switch to activate.

As far as I know I need:
1) to purchase that VGA - S-Video Adapter ?
2) to purchase S-Video Cable itself ?
3) to purchase something like audio AV cables as well ?

Does anybody know where I can buy VGA - S-Video Cable (without Adapters) if it's possible and DO I NEED TO BUY AUDIO CABLE IF I'M GOING TO CONNECT THRU S-VIDEO?

You won't be able to see video if your LCD screen is cracked.

Connect a monitor to the VGA port , the hold the Fn key and hit F7.

u must have tv input connection in ur laptop for watching tv. if so then ok if not install a tv tuner card in your laptop
