Many face the problem of bad odor in refrigerators. Here are few simple tricks to get the problem of bad odor solved:
Keep an open box of baking soda inside the fridge it will absorb the foul smell.
Place newspaper made into balls all over your fridge and freezer so that it is completely covered.Spray the newspaper with water until it is completely wet.
Allow the fridge to run as normal for five days. During this time, the combination of evaporating water and paper will soak up the nasty smell. It should be noted that you will have to turn your freezer to the lowest setting to avoid getting frozen.
Buy some freshly ground coffee.Dump 1 to 2 cups of the coffee grounds on a large plate and spread them around. Use multiple plates if the smells are extreme.Place the plate on the center shelf.Close the refrigerator for 24 to 48 hours.Dispose of the coffee grounds.
Cut a lemon in half and put it in there - it will absorb the smells and make it clean smelling.

Hi, pull out the fridge and remove the back panel, and clean that area. Make sure no food is stuck under the fridge also. A rotten piece of fruit or other food, once under there, will smell until it totally decomposes.
You can also mix 1/3 cup of bleach and 2/3 cup of water , and pour down drain tube (rear bottom in freezer section. Too much bleach and the smell of bleach would be circulated by the fan to the room, so be sure to add water.
Finally, another popular methods of removing fridge odor include washing the entire fridge out with a vinegar and water solution, placing fresh coffee grinds or boxes of baking soda on each shelf and even using trays of cat litter.
Please note when you keep fish in freezer once, the smell will be longer even you remove it. O.K. Now solution for your problem- Please unplug power.Keep fridge door open. Take wet cloth dipped in soap water and clean all compartment including freezer . Keep freezer door also opened. Then clean with dry cloth. Spray room spray in your room not into the fridge. And allow 5 hrs to circulate fresh air to pass thr' your fridge and then close fridge and freezer doors. Plug fridge and run for one hour on empty. After one hour store items in fridge and/or freezer. Keep all food items in closed style which will avoid odor spreading and also be a hygienic. Thanks.
There are two reasons for bad smells. 1. Long time not being used. 2. Lack of cleaning inside compartment.
Solution: Unplug fridge. Keep open fridge door. Dip a dry cloth in soap water and start cleaning each and every compartment. Keep freezer door also open. And then clean with another dry cloth. Keep both doors open for nearly 5 hrs. It will be enable fresh air to **** the smell inside fridge. After 5 hrs close the fridge and run on empty for one hour. Keep food items after one hour. Please keep all food items closed vessel. Not only it's avoid odor but also be hygienic. If you use to keep fish items in freezer, clean fridge once in a week.(Spray roo spray in the room when you keep fridge door opened. Don't spray into fridge.)Helpful.
Most washers have a one way valve on the drain and a water trap created with the line, so no water or smell can go into the machine.
Check the valve, remove the hose, that should be under the sink, wrap a cloth around it and blow,it should not be able to blow into it. Then make sure the hose at some point go higher then where it connects to the drain.
Fill a bucket and fill the washer until you see a little in the bottom of the machine, watch it for a few minutes to see if it drains, it shouldn't, dump in a bottle of white vinegar and run the machine, make sure dry is off. Then run it again, do not add anything.
drain pans are no longer removable. to clean. can remove back panel or btm frt kickplate and look for pan. spray lysol down their and clean out the coils.the only reason it should smell is if anything spoiled in ref. and got into drain system. you can try and vacumm up whats in the pan but you will have little room. unplug ref from wall before you go poking around.
smell is not the fault of the dishwasher but your waste disposal unit - they stink!
it may be awkward, but arrange your drain so that there is a water barrier. better still. install a standpipe for the drain, again with a water barrier
check its not the drained ice water which collects on a pan over the compressor. the compressor heat is supposed to evaporate it .that foul smell might be due to that.
if that is the case ,switch off fridge , clean , dry , the pan & see .
