Cq50-210us with vista loaded xp pro . now can't get online. think i need drivers what to do ??

in case that u do not has the driver cd, u can download cpuz in order to detect what kind of motherboard of your machine so that u can download the respective drivers. After install, your pc should be able to online.
*Suspect LAN driver not installed thus cannot online

let me go this way..

• the laptop u mentioned will work best with Vista as the model was made for it..
• again vista can be very slow in process that will make u feel regret and swith back to XP.. so its ur choice.. but my sygession is stick to Xp upgrade the drivers and i dnt think u will have major problems... cheers!!!

You need a bootable CD of XP SP2 for installing OS..then u need the driver for ur laptop ..u can download those driver from toshiba site...

use google to find driver magician with it, u can bacup yr drivers aftr which u can reinstall them.e dis helps

i think the only problem you encounter is about the sound driver. Because the other driver is plug and play for the other devices.

If you have a vista capable 98067 ver.1 you will need the vista driver for it located at vista drivers. Even though you are using XP the driver is tied in with the Vista one for your camera. I hope this helps.

Hy Idont I can help you with vista but I`ve got Aardvark direct pro lx6 and no drivers for XP. I cant find it in the internet. Could you tell me where can i find it?

Well, I'm amazed a C640 runs Vista at all. There's no reason to buy a new hard drive, except for the novenlty of having one loaded with Vista on a C640. It's a great laptop, and runs Windows XP PRo perfectly well. If you have one od the Dell XP install disks, just boot from it, and whenever it finds the vista install, hit excape, then at the next screen hit "D" to delete the partition, then choose "quick format", and load the Operation system. If you need an install disk,let me know. Good luck
