I have a Brother MFC 6490CW printer. I have been using it wireless for the past 6 months. When i had a problem with the auto tray select, i reloaded the printer and it constantly goes back to OFFLINE. The only way to fix is to reload the printer. I have Windows 7 PRO. Any ideas?

Ensure you have properly installed the communication between the printer and the hub and only then install the relevant software to windows. It appears that something has not properly being installed.

Please select the auto select paper size option, if this don't fix your problem then go the paper option and manually select the A3 paper size and scan.

You can only print borderless from Tray 1.

You have 2 printers because it was inadvertently installed twice. You need to un-install both of them and reinstall the printer again.

You can set the Brother machine to automatically select the appropriate paper tray based on the paper size or you can manually select paper tray1 or 2. If you use the Auto Select feature, the application will automatically pull from the appropriate tray based on the document#s paper size. For this feature to work, the tray settings must be definedfrom the machine#s control panel. For instructions on how to configure this setting, continue to the section labeled: ADJUSTING YOUR BROTHER MACHINE#S PAPER SIZE SETTING)

my brother MFC-6490CW keeps coming up with an error message 'cannot print 70' how do i solve this?

theres a menu button on the wireless printer..go to network and set the configuration from there if your using wireless just set the configuration to the existing wireless device you have and thats it...instant wireless printer connection...also check the manual..hope this helps...
