NEC NP200 Projector Logo
Posted on Nov 23, 2010

We have the NP200 at our school and we're having some trouble with a few that are flickering the picture - where it looks almost like an inverse of the image or something. Anyone seen this and know how to fix it? I've made sure all the connections are secure and even tried switching the vga cords with new ones and nothing seems to get it to stop flickering color.

Phone NEC and get them to swap it over if it is under warranty. They are very good like that and you will have a replacement next day via TNT. Take out the bulb and keep hold of all the cables and remote as they will send you the projector only. Put the faulty one in the box and send it back. TNT will collect it and it is part of the returns policy. No cost involved.

Look at bugs

Seriously?

Science has named and classified about 1 million distinct species of insect. You expect someone to name a million insects for you, so you can then go name a few bugs at school. Get real.

Do your homework properly. Get a book from the library and do some reading. You might learn something.

I have nec np200 and there's a lot of dots appeared on the screen. what seems to be a problem

I have 2 NP-200 projectors installed in a school which show white dots on a black background and black dots on a white background. This is caused by the DMD chip losing pixels. Only solution is to replace the chip, I'm researching now if that i an economical solution.

When i try to create an inverse matrix it says i have invalid dim

Hi Robert9004x2,

If you want to examine the matrix you want to inverse and, the one that is given you trouble pressing [2nd] [MATRX]. Then stroll and, select the one you want to look at by pressing, [ENTER]. You'll have to press, [ENTER] again and, matrix should display at the Home screen. At the Home when you get to them your looking for the ones that are not square, like 2 by2 or 4 by 4 etc. You might need to re-edit this matrix so, that it is square.

Your trying to invert a matrix that isn't square you might be using using the proper key sequence to create a inverse matrix. Here what the correct inverse matrix look on the Ti 84 Plus Home screen.

oneplusgh_49.jpg

And pictured below is a Matrix is being inverted by using the ^ and the -1 keys. Which to inverse a Matrix on the Ti 84 Plus you have to use the [x^-1] key.

oneplusgh_50.jpg

This is not the proper way to inverse a Matrix on the Ti 84 Plus. The proper way to inverse of a matrix, the [x-1] key must be used, instead of pressing the sequence [^][-][1]. The [x-1] key is the official inverse key and is located right under the Math key. It is also the same key that you use to get to the matrix menus. The [^][-][1] sequence is only raising the matrix to the -1 power and, will cause an error too. If you need any more help, just post a comment and, I'll respond quickly.

Picture often flickers and image distorts every few minutes

The trouble is most likely in the Video processor. If the trouble looks like its tearing the video only from side to side it may be the line doubler circuit. Some of these boards are no longer available but a good TV tech may be able to componnent level repair it for you.

Mitsubishi Model CR3515R White Gray lines cause picture inversion.

Your having trouble with the vertical sync/deflection circuitry. Probably a driver since it clears up after it gets warm. Could be as simple as a cold solder joint but it's not something you can do yourself unless your a tv repairman.
