My Whirlpool Oven Display is NOT working. I can press buttons and it beeps. The light also works. If I kill power it will come back up and beep but I never get a display to show up. If I start the oven in the 1st 1-2 mins after power's on, the oven heats (no display). After that I just get beeps if I try to start it?

Atlanta...sounds like you may have a power supply problem or the panel is bad. Cut the power, open the unit up and see if there is a fuse in there or a reset. No good? Then replace the circuit board. They just, well, die sometime. Happened to my microwave. Some units may be available remanufactured. Look around on the web.

First, consult your owner's manual for trouble shooting. Next, turn off the circuit breaker that controls the oven for 5 or 10 minutes to reset. If you do not have any success, your clock (and/or membrane panel) will probably need replacement.

Hello, The first thing I'd look at is your owner's manual to insure the timer hasn't been set to "Sabbath" mode accidently. If that is the case you could experience a "no display" scenario. The manual will also explain how to enter/exit the "Sabbath" mode. In the event the timer itself is at fault ( i.e. the display transformer gone bad ) it will have to be replaced or (if an available option exist's for your timer) have your timer rebuilt.
