Have you cleaned under the needle plate
change the needle
make sure the thread has not come off the thread take up lever
some thread & needle don't work togeather--try this
Cut 6-8 inch piece of thread of the spool you are going to use for your project
Take the needle you are going to use for the project
& insert the thread thru the eye of the needle
& lift one end of the thread to a 45 degree angle
& if the needle is the right size for the thread it will slide down the thread
But if the needle hangs on the thread you need one size larger needle for the thread

Why is my bottom thread all loopy

Ok, thread is loopy because bottom tension is way too loose. Tighten the bottom tension. If this doesn't work then
use a different coloured thread in the bobbin and a different coloured thread in the needle. Then you can see which one is making the loop. Fix the tension on the loopy one.

How do I adjust tension on a Necchi Lydia 510 sewing machine?

loops under fabric means top tension needs to be tightened
try cleaning the top tension dial with some unwaxed dental floss and see if that helps. if it doesn't then the tension dial may need to be replaced
also check to make sure the spool of thread is not getting caught on the spool holder
also try a new needle--one that is correct for the fabric being sewed

The top thread is to loose and sometimes it skips a stitch

Increase the upper thread tension, or loosen the bobbin tension to balance them. Put in a new needle too. Check that the needle is in correctly.

I have an omega 3730m sewing machine and i find that when i am sewing, the stitching underneath balls up nad is not tight. i tried to adjust the tension but nothing seems to work. any suggestions?

I find that re-threading both top and bottom threads fixes the problem. Sometimes the thread has not gone through the tension springs properly. try a new needle too.

Have a new NECCHI 681c sewing machine.. I've threadd ir according to the video but it jams and doesn't do anyrhing and I end up with huge clumps of thread on the inside.... Help!

It will always jam if the tread isn't seated in the tension disc. put one hand on each side of the the tention disc whn you are threading and make sure that thread seats
