E27 means there is a problem with the door lock. Unplug the machine for 5 minutes and try again. If the error code returns you will need to replace the door lock assembly.
Instead place the machine on a wash cycle and the E:27 error will beep. ignore this error for about 10 min. The machine resets and it should start working. this worked for me hopefully it works for you
Hi I had the same problem and to fix it, I holded Delay Start and Spin Selection and move the nub to the Cold position Perm Press then I hit the Start button while still holding the Delay and Spin button then I put back the nub to off and the machine has reset itself. Hope it help.

As with some of the other solutions to this error after unplugging from the wall and popping the cover off and unlatching the door with the "emergency" latch release I was able to drain the tub wuth my shop vac then removing the cover to the pump cleanout was able to vacuum the remaining water from the pump . I discovered several buttons and other debris in the fins of the pump, removed those and reassembled. Good as new!

John-I have the same problem. I called service, they told me to unplug it (or turn off the breaker) for 30 mins, then turn back on. That should reset it. However, for me, it didn't do a thing. He said if that didn't work it's time for a service call.

I am not a repair professional. I am just a 78 year old
man who has been making his own repairs for about
50 years. Therefore the washer or dryer ID doesn't
mean much to me. I came to fixya looking for a
schematic for an really old AM/FM radio and
discovered that more than 4,700 people were asking
for help with a washer repair. I recently had a washer
repair of my own and found an excellent video which
showed me how to take my machine apart. This
video made it possible for me to do my own repair. I
was so impressed with the video that when I saw all
these people needing help, I wanted to tell them
about it. If you have a top loader (washer) of the
direct drive type, this video might be a Godsend for
you. If you look at the back of your washer and the
panel is solid (no small inspection plate to remove)
chances are you have a direct drive and this video
is just what you need. You can see this video at
www.acmehowto.com You will probably need
more help in determining what the problem is and
how to fix it. If your repair problem is a washer or
dryer I suggest you go to www.applianceaid.com
where they have very good trouble shooting and
repair information on most washers and dryers.
I think you'll find what you need there. Don't worry
about the timer, they hardly ever go bad. Good
luck with it. If I have helped you, please rate my
advice on fixya.
SOURCE: Bosch 500 washer won't finish rinse cycle. Flashing error code13
Timed out on drain cycle, basically you either have an outlet blockage or something is trapped in the pump, you can check the pump by opening the bottom right flap on the front panel, manually emptying the w/m and checking the pump filter for coins etc. Also, check the outlet isn't blocked.
Good Luck.
SOURCE: Bosch 500 series washer E:27 error code?
error 27 is the door lock, unplug machine for 30 mins or so, then replug, possibly closing the door too hard messes up the sensor/switch in the door lock assy, if all else fails replace door lock.
HI THAT MEANS door is locked and will not start PLZ VISIT THIS LINK

Usually answered in minutes!
Ok, I had this error code E27. Ends up this is actually how to reset it. Dont bother powering off or any of that stuff. Just do this, with the door closed switch the selector to cold to the left ( perm. press) then just wait 3 minutes. Thats it! Dont touch any buttons just wait. It will do a series of 3 beeps while you are waiting. If it will not reset then most likely you need a new door switch ( interlock ). This worked for my vision 500 series washer. Not sure about all the other ways I have read about because none worked for me. Again, there is no need to power off or to press any other buttons. I hope this helps!
I heard the first beep
Yay it worked
