One handset dead others fine

Model 41223 One of the 3 handsets is dead. No lights on face dial- nothing. I switched the battery with one from a working hadset- no luck. Placed it in a different base to charge- no luck. Other handsets & base work fine. Any suggestions ?

Battery doesn't charge

Shirley, check if you inserted the chip properly. Usually the bars are your wifi strength. Most likely its the chip.

The #1 handset on this 5 handset cordless phone has lost it's power. There is nothing on the viewing screen and nothing turns on. The other 4 handsets are fine.

  1. Try a battery from one of the working handsets in the handset that isn't working. If it starts working, you will need to get a new battery.
  2. If it doesn't start working, you may have a defective handset and will need to contact the manufacturer or place you purchased the handset from.

I cannot call out on my KX-TG9331T. Coming in calls ring busy

Try switching batteries with one of your other handsets known to be in good working order or replace the batteries in the handset with the problem with new ones

Handset display reads "searching". No dial tone. No response.

I am sure you have solved this problem by now. For others who might face the same problem...just unplug the batterry of the handset and plug it in..wow it works!!:))

New Voice Mail flashing light

press "mute" key to access menu, press the up or down arrow key labeled "caller ID- volume" until you get to "handset setup", press the "mute" key again, press the down or up arrow until you have "defaultsetting" selected, press "mute" key, press "1", then press "mute" once more. At this point your handset will reset clearing the indicator for all the handsets. I've had to do this twice on my phones and it worked every time.

Handset does not work

Your handset is no longer communicating with your base. Depending on your model, the solutions can be a couple of different options. If I could view pdf files on this computer I would look it up for you. But here is the link to the manual on Unidens website- http://www.uniden.com/pdf/TRU8865-2om.pdf

Nonetheless, give this a try. Power down your base, and pull the battery out of your handset. Plug the battery back in the handset and set the bad handset in the base cradle, and then power up the base. Wait about 30 seconds, then give the phone a try. If it still does not work, then you need to try to "re-register" the bad handset back to the base. Look in the manual under "registration" procedures. Hope my help fixes it for you. Good Luck, CG

Disfunctional Handset

has the secondary handset ever worked. Reason I ask is that it happened to me with a new addtl handset and the problem was that I did not remove the small piece of paper between the handset and the battery which caused only distorted figures to display on the LCD of the handset.
