Try these sites, first, the exploded view part diagram for ordering parts http://weborder.husqvarna.com/order_static/doc/HIUS/HIUS2008/HIUS2008_545103429.pdf
second, (if this is not the right manual) then try this to find it, http://www.husqvarna.com/us/homeowner/support/download-manuals/?query=&types=O,I
good luck!!

#1) Run one line through rubber stopper in top of tank. Attach fuel filter to end that goes in tank (leave enough line so filter will lay in bottom of tank.) Attach other end of same fuel line to bottom tube coming off of bottom of carburetor (make sure it does not kink). #2) Run 2nd fuel line from bottom tube on primer bulb (or tube that expels air when bulb is pressed) run other end into rubber stopper just through the top (this end stops flush with under side of rubber stopper). #3) Take a 3rd fuel line and run from top tube on carburetor to top tube of primer bulb (tube that draws air when bulb is pressed). Stopper can be pulled out to achieve this and put in last.

Take 1 fuel line with filter attached to one end. This line needs to be fed through the rubber stopper (with 2 holes that goes in top of tank) and continue to bottom tube coming from carburetor. Take a 2nd fuel line from primer bulbs bottom tube and feed into 2nd hole in rubber stopper. This fuel line stops just after it goes through stopper and does not go down in tank. Take a 3rd fuel line from top tube coming from carb and connect to second tube coming from primer bulb.

Replaced te fuel lines. no sure Ihavethe lines connected properly

Not sure if your primer bulb is on the carb or separate but here are some basics... The smaller line is the main fuel line. It has the fuel filter on it and the filter should be laying on the bottom of the tank. That line goes to the fuel pump side of the carb ( usually the inlet near the center of the carb body ). The fuel goes through the filter up the main line and fills the carb then to the primer bulb whether its on the carb or separate. If on the carb the spigot closest to the primer bulb takes the larger line and returns to the tank. That line should go into the tank about half an inch and terminate. If the primer is separate the larger line leave the carb from the spigot on the metering side ( usually close to the edge of the carb body) to the inlet of the primer bulb then from the primer bulb out ( usually center of the bulb) to the tank and terminates about half an inch inside the tank. Remember... fuel filter into carb, carb to primer bulb, primer bulb to tank. If the fuel does not go that direction when the bulb is primed then you have lines hooked up backwards.

Poulan chain saw model #2025 - fuel lines dry rotted and disintegrated. There are 3 fuel lines: l from gas tank and 2 from primer button but only 2 fuel ports on the carb. What goes where and how?

You should have 2 to the tank, the one with filter coming from tank goes to nipple on right side of carb, the nipple on left side by primer bulb goes to primer bulb and other from primer bulb back to tank as return line, how it should work is when you push primer bulb it pulls fuel from tank through carb and back to tank on return line so watch in tank orleave one line out that you think is return line and see if gas comes out when you prime, but remember it goes through the carb first before it goes back to tank, had a pic but too big to put on site sorry, 2StrokeJim

Hi Sirs, I have a Poulan Woodshark model 1950. The gas lines deteriorated and I bought new ones, together with the primer bulb and the chain. Now I can't remember how to connect the lines. I need help....

The fuel line from the tank with the filter on the end goes to the carb inlet, closest to the metering cover usually a chrome cover held with four screws, the other conection on the carb goes to the suction side of the primer bulb, normally the shorter of the two conections, the pressure side of the primer goes back to the tank, this pipe just sits in the tank to act as a return, just remember the primer pulls fuel from the carb, into the bulb, and back to the tank.

Hello, my Ryobi 410r tiller/cultivator needed new fuel line so I bought the fuel line, return and a new bulb primer. Unfortunately, I can't remember what hose goes where!!! Specifically, I've...

The primer pulls fuel through the carbruetor
So take your return line from the carb. and hook it to the inlet side of the primer and the other side
of the primer bulb transtions into the fuel tank.
You know when you have hooked it up right when you press the primer it fills with fuel and dumps back into the tank.

Walbro WT891 carb on a Craftsman chainsaw. Carb is brand new, all fuel lines and fule filter replaced. I prime the carb with the little plunger, chainsaw starts up and runs out of fuel within 30 seconds....

Who connected these hoses? the normal routing for a machine with a primer is like this, the fuel hose from the tank with the filter on the end goes to the carb fuel inlet nozzel ( not to the primer ) nearest to the pump cover ( cover on carb held with one screw ) the pipe from the metering side of the carb connects to the shorter nozzel on the primer bulb ( suction side ), the longer nozzel on the primer ( pressure side ) connects to the pipe going back to the tank, just remember the primer pulls fuel from the carb, into the bulb, and pushes it back into the tank, it is not actually a primer it is a purge. because it is connected this way it is impossible to flood the engine no matter how many times the bulb is pressed.
Let me know if it starts and runs.

Troy bilt gas trimmer gas lines broke and now I'm not sure which lines go where.

The gas lines probably broke because of the ethanol-laced gasoline we have to use nowadays. It deteriorates them. If the unit has the external purge/primer bulb, the way mine did, it is not that hard. Just remember...the primer bulb "pulls" fresh fuel from the fuel tank to and thru the carb, thus pushing out any air/old fuel in the metering chamber of the carb back to the fuel tank in the return line...that said..
Fuel tank...2 lines...smaller diameter line goes directly to the carb body. There are probably 2 brass nipples on the carb. This line goes to the one on the body opposite the end of the carb with the vent-hole in the cover. This is the fuel pump end...where fresh gas enters the carb.
The larger line out of the fuel tank connects to the longer nipple on the purge/primer bulb. This is the fuel return line.
The remaining fuel line (larger diameter) goes from the vented-cover (has writing on it) end of the carb to the shorter nipple on the purge/primer bulb. This line carrys air and old fuel OUT of the carb to the bulb where it is then PUSHED back to the fuel tank via the return line...so you have a small diameter supply line to carb...an intermediate larger diameter line from the carb to the bulb and finally the larger diameter return line from the bulb BACK to the fuel tank.
Go to a small engine shop and purchase about a foot each of the 2 different diameter fuel lines needed and install those new "Tygon" fuel lines as your fuel line replacement.

I was given a 31cc craftsmen grass trimmer that starts but won't stay running. When I took it apart it has 2 lines coming from the gas tank. One goes to a primer bulb then the carb and the other line has...

The basics of the fuel line on these and many 2 cycle engines is this, one line from the tank goes to the primer bulb and the other from the tank is the return line from the carburetor. There should be another from the primer to the carb. The primer pushes fuel into the carb and any excess flows through the carb and back into the tank.

I hope this helps.

Not getting fuel replaced primer and hoses and not

It's easy to mess this up as I've done it in the past. If the unit has an external purge bulb, the fuel line from the fuel tank that has the fuel filter on it goes directly to the carburetor...near the part of the carb that holds the fuel pump and has the grooved cover (where an inbuilt purge bulb would be). The other line coming out of the fuel tank goes to the purge bulb. The side of the carburetor that has the diaphragm and metering lever cover has the line going to the purge bulb. Remember, this is not really a primer...the purge bulb pulls air and old fuel out of the carb and when it does this, fresh fuel flows into it...and then the bulb pushes that air and old fuel back into the fuel tank. Hope this helps.

Poulan Trimmer PPB100 fuel lines

The larger of the fuel lines is the main fuel line. It is the one that has the filter stuck in the end of it and runs out the larger hole in the tank to a fitting on the carb. The smaller line should be about one inch into the tank and comes out the smaller hole and runs to one of the nipples on the primer bulb. Press the primer bulb and put your finger in front of the fittings. The one that you feel air coming out of when you do this is the fitting that runs from the primer bulb to the carb. Hope this helps and good luck.

Poulan saw

Hi joecamp1,
My name is Dennis and I'll try to be of assistance.
1) There is a primer line kit that is of smaller diameter and it goes from the primer bulb to the tank and terminates at the fuel pick-up assembly. There is also another smaller diameter line that goes from the primer bulb to the carburetor.
2) There is also a fuel line kit that is of larger line diameter that goes from the carburetor to the fuel tank.
That's a total of three lines Tank to bulb and bulb to carburetor two lines four places to connect. and tank to carburetor that is the third line and the remaining places to connect the second place at the tank and tha last at the carburetor.
Glad to be of assistance. Please rate the solution because I can learn from your rating.
Thank you
Dennis
