My EA Sports Madden NFL 08 game for the Nintendo Wii is not allowing me to play the running game. When my team gets possession of the ball on the ground (hand off, after catch, or Kick\Punt return), my player moves by himself. I have checked that my nunchucks work, they do. I can pass the ball and pick plays, but I can't run. The player icon is surrounded in blue which means I have control of my player, but I don't. All other aspects of the game work, is the game broken beyond repair, or can I do something to fix it?

This might not work but i'm pretty sure the nunchuck is overheated. Don't wory just unplug it from the remote and wait about a minute. It should probably clear up

    I am pretty sure it is not the nunchuck because the nunchuck works on the menu screen, also the player runs be itself, so if it was the nunchuk, wouldnt my player not move at all?

    o because sometimes that happens in other games.In my Kung Fu Panda Po was running aroung without me moving him, so I disconnected the nunchuck and put back on after 15 seconds.

Madden nfl 08 has stopped working windows 7 64bit
Just right click the desktop icon....properties, compatibility tab....check to remove desktop compression and change to run in Windows 2000 mode. Worked for me.

Madden 11 has the worst computer difficulty settings out of all the games. All-Pro is way to easy and in All-Madden they just screw you all game. Every fumble is lost, 99 overall carrying QB I made,...
adjust your sliders to better suit your play. Always liked NCAA football. The new FIFA is pretty cool.

Lost madden 08 pc product code
Email EA and ask if they can get you a new one. It's that simple. Either they give you a new product code, or you'll have to go buy the game again.

Game freezes up in the 4th quarter.
I used to have this problem on the game 'HEATSEEKER'
I simply bought a new copy of the game at the store and, it has been fine ever since.
If that does not work go to your local wii stockist and ask for expert opinion there.

My Wii suddenly stopped playing all EA Sports discs.
I can only presume that the discs are faulty, just that your relative has a better/newer/cleaner laser to read them. I can't see any other real reason why it would be limited to one brand. The only sure way would be to buy a brand new EA game and test that i suppose. None of the software in the Wii works to limit a brand. Has your Wii been modified?
