Replace hollow gasket vista-pivot ii shower door

Usually the bottom of most framed doors has a chanel which contain door sweep or hollow gasket, all you have to do is pull it and slide the new one in the same place.
Please note that some times the end of the chanel is crimped to prevent the gasket to move in and out of the track.
I hope this will help.

I have a Sterling 1500D Shower door and I need to replace hollow gasket at the bottom of the door. Where do I purchase this from???

It sounds like you need the sweep or seal that keeps water in the enclosure. You can buy these items, which are inexpensive and usually easy to install yourself at www.technologylk.com Technology LK carries a comprehensive range of shower door gaskets, seals and other hardware. If you have any questions about exactly what you need and how to install it, you can contact the company at [email protected] or call them at 888-663-9830.

Years ago I purchased a Kinkead Vista-Pivot Shower Door, model 1500-31, Silver. For a variety of reasons the shower didn't get built until recently. However the door opening is now 32.5 inches wide so it...

Ace Hardware sells that door and you will need to see if they can order the parts but it looka like they sell the doors 36" size so when you order you will need to order for the Sterling Plumbing 1500D-36S "Vista Pivot" Shower Door Fits Openings 31 -1/4" To 36" H 66" . Now if you have not completely finished the shower you could always make the door opening fit what you have.

Need to replace drip cap on bottom of door

o.k. these are usually attached with a double sided tape,...you need to get something like a scraper or the like and get in between it and the door,..go slow and pry it off,...SLOWLY! once you get the old one off, you'll need to clean surfaces with a rag and rubbing alcohol,....(very important for new one to stick),.....take your time with this operation,..it doesn't look like much but trust me, i've worked on many shower doors and patience IS your best friend,....again, go slow and pay attention to ALL details.
