I have a 42" Prima

Try the following if this doesn't help you will need to get someone to look at it.
Plug the TV directly into the wall, turn off the power and any other power buttons or switches your TV may have. Now hold the standby button on your TV in for about 30 seconds. Once you have done that turn all power back on and see if this makes any difference. I hope this helps unfortunately this trick only works about 30-40% of the time.

The ambient temperature might be high. Check whether the foolinf fans are working or not. If not, check out the reason for it. The TV must be placed at least 6cm away from wall, and should have sufficant ventilaation.

I didnt see the Prima LC, but you can still problem with the instructions below.

If you tried all the codes provided for the manufacturer, try the following steps to find another code.

1. Make sure the TV is on.
2. Press and hold the TV button on the remote until the SAT, TV and VCR buttons light up.
3. Let go of the TV button. The TV button should start to flash.
4. Press the Power button on the remote control. The TV button will stay lit.
5. Press the up arrow on the remote every second until the TV turns off.
6. When the TV turns off, press the # button on the remote to lock the code. If the scan was successful, the TV light will flash 3 times.

Your remote should now be programmed to work with your TV.

Step 1:
Press and hold the TV mode button until all mode button back lights illuminate,then release.

Step 2:
Press and release the Power button.

Step 3:
Press the Up button once a second while pointing the remote at the desiredequipment. If the code for the equipment comes up, the equipment will poweroff.

Step 4:
Press the pound (#) button. If the code entered is valid for the remote, themode light flashes three times.

Plasma tvs do not have "back lights" LCDs do. you probably have a bad driver board along with the upper or lower buffer board or maybe both, best to have a tv shop look at it.

Try the samsung code.

I need to know the code to program a new universal remote tv for my PRIMA PH-42R6C. I don't find the code and i don't know what kinf remote i need for this tv.

The problem is i lose the remote
