remove easy camera and reinstall again
remove the easy camera go to device manager see if there any webcam or not if there is not maybe caused ur camera data cable is leak

I see that you are having issue with using the camera on your Lenovo with other programs such as Skyp or Yahoo Messenger and so on...

On your Lenovo the camera works with easy capture, that is a good sign saying that your camera works but how to make it work on other applications you will need to get in the applications settings and select the Lenovo Camera as a default device for that specific application that you are using to utilize the camera.

all the applications you mentioned earlier has thier own settings page and this is where you can set each to make the Lenovo Camera the default deivce for it to work on your applications.

Try to press FN+ESC button to turn on the camera if it doesn't work then uninstall the Lenovo EasyCamera driver and the Easy Capture in the Control Panel/Uninstall Program. Then Download the lenovo easycamera driver in this link: http://consumersupport.lenovo.com/us/en/DriversDownloads/drivers_show_895.html and then install it. After that download also the Easy Capture this is the link:http://consumersupport.lenovo.com/us/en/DriversDownloads/drivers_show_934.html and then install it.

download driver then download eyeline surveillance when it says add camera easycam pops up it works pass it on u have juss been school holla back

I solved the problem using Fn + Esc key. Hope this will help some.

please uninstall all the camera using software (messenger,veriface) and then reinstall the easy capture first and also press fn+esc simultaneously to unlock the camera.
