A DHCP Reservation is a permanent IP address
assignment. It is a specific IP address within a DHCP scope that is
permanently reserved for leased use to a specific DHCP client. Step 1:

You can configure a DHCP reservation in your DHCP server when you
need to reserve a permanent IP address assignment. You can use these
reservations for DHCP-enabled devices like print and file servers or
other application servers which always have the fixed IP address on a
network.
To configure a DHCP reservation, follow the steps provided below:
Access the router's web-based setup page. For instructions, click here.

Step 2:
Click Setup > Basic Setup.
Step 3:
Make sure that the DHCP Server option is Enabled. Click the DHCP Reservation button if you want to assign a fixed local IP address to a MAC address.
Step 4:
When you click on DHCP Reservation, a new web browser window will pop-up. Click the Select checkbox to reserve a client's IP address. ClickI have a dlink router of model DI-1750, i have to - kb17362-003_en.pngs button afterwards.
