JVC Everio GZ-MG27U videos appear overexposed (very white, washed out, barely visible) both on the LCD (when recording) and on PC when played back... Is there a setting that needs reset or is it something else more serious? Thanks, Keith

It seems that your lenses are stuck, take it to a certified technician and ask for them to repair it.

LCD panel needs replacing - this is the classic case of detached screen ribbon, which unfortunately is not repairable without silicon printing equipment which costs thousands. Also check playback on another device (ie streamed through your PC) to make sure the heads haven't become misaligned.
hi there, you can also try other dvd burning softwares. you can download them @ download.com. try the free dvd burners. they are lightweight and dopesnt eat up computer usage.
I have a JVC Everio GZ-HD3AA camcorder which I recently purchased. I am able to connect it a TV and watch video files, but they all appear in black and white! The downloaded movies to my laptop (Acer aspire 5630) with windows vista as the operating system are played in slow motion on the laptop screen.
