After replacing the lamp in my sharp XR30X projector, the power light is green and steady, the bulb light is green by blinks in the following sequence: 1 long, 14 short. Do you know what this means?

when was the last time the lamp was replaced? and how many hours does it currently have? you might have a bad lamp.

clean all serface. clean power fan .

PL RESET THE LAMP BYTAKING HELP IN MANUAL

Reset the lamp timer.
1,Connect the power cord.
2,While simultaneously holding down "menu","enter" and "down" on the projector, press "standby/On" on the projector and keep all four buttons pressed down until the lamp indicator starts blinking green.
"LAMP 0000H" is displayed, indicating that the lamp timer is reset.

Verify that the lamp doors are securely closed. The blinking red lights indicate a lamp problem. In this case, both appear to be defective. I doubt that the lamps are the problem. double chack all connections and doors for proper seating. Update this if the problem remains.

reset the lamp timer. hold down the menu, down arrow and enter buttons and press power.

reset the lamp timer. unplug it and plug it back in. hold down the enter, down, and menu buttons, then press the power button.

ballast is not striking the lamp and needs replacing

try pressing and holding the enter button on the projector for about 30 seconds - this resets it. It worked for me!!
