Hi,
does anyone know where I can get a copy of the instructions or manual for a Baby Lock 1550? I got one for my wife for Xmas, but it is lacking the manual. I purchased one online for $10.00, but the file did not open ( Acrobat says it is corrupted or invalid ) and they do not offer refunds or any level of customer support it would seem. I'm really desperate here.. please help!
Contact the nearest Baby Lock dealer. They will likely have a DVD of instructions for sale. The dealer nearest me told me they have gone to DVDs now in lieu of manuals. I got it shipped to me.Contact the nearest Baby Lock dealer. They will likely have a DVD of instructions for sale. The dealer nearest me told me they have gone to DVDs now in lieu of manuals. I know this is a super old post, but I cannot find the manual for this BL5180 I just bought. I'd like to know how to service/oil it. Does anyone have a scanned manual, pretty please? :)
Unfortunately, Babylock no longer has the manual for the Companion 1550 (BL1550) for download. It's unlikely that any Babylock dealers will have the manual. However, dealers will often provide manuals if they have them for a small fee.
You can check with a Baby Lock dealer an online sewing machine parts vendor, or even eBay. However, it may be difficult to find a manual for your machine due to its age and perhaps even less chance of success for finding a free manual.
