SOURCE: 18 volt ryobi battery charger...green & yellow lights come on wha

talked to Ryobi and they are vague. It can either mean that the battery is bad, or the charger is bad and another one that maybe the contacts of the battery are dirty or not seating fully in charger. What I would look for in this instance first unplug the charger and look into charging slot to make sure the terminals of the charger are not bent and they come out into the cavity where battery would go. If not gently pull terminal into opening and retry. Sorry I couldn't be of more assistance

SOURCE: The Yellow and Green light both come on and stay

It sounds like your battery is bad. If yellow and green are on for more than 15 minutes it probably a defective battery pack. See page 8 in the manual.

SOURCE: Green & Yellow light on 14.4V charger

It sounds like your battery is bad.

If both yellow and green LEDs come on, this indicates
a deeply discharged or defective battery pack.
Allow the battery pack to remain in the charger for 15
to 30 minutes. When the battery pack reaches normal
voltage range, the red LED should come on. If the
red LED does not come on after 30 minutes, this may
indicate a defective battery pack and should be
replaced.
n After normal usage, a minimum of 1 hour of charging time
is required to fully recharge battery pack.

Green light on new Ryobi charger flashing when trying to charge battery it that normal

Yes, the green light flashes until the battery is fully charged on Ryobi chargers. This will change to a solid green light when the battery is fully charged until the charger goes to a power-saving mode. Not all of the Ryobi chargers have a power-saving mode. However, for those that do, the green led will dim over time and then brighten and dim slowly again in this mode.

My Ryobi charger, model P113, actually has a key for the LEDs on the unit on the left of the battery port. The manual for this charger is here: https://manuals.ttigroupna.com/system/files/5495/original/P113_192_trilingual.pdf?2011 . Ryobi has many of their manuals on their site. Look up your charger/tool here: https://www.ryobitools.com/power-tools/support/manuals , Home Depot's web site also has many of these manuals on the product site for the tools that they sell.

I hope this helps.

Red "testing" light comes on when a battery is inserted and flashes continuously. Green light does not come on.

Actually, this is normal. You have to wait for the test to complete, and then it will charge your battery.

Just bought a Ruobi drill with 18V Lithium Batteries. Been chatging for over an hour. Still not charged. Just the bottom Green light stays on. Is this normal? How long does it take?

The Ryobi charger will flash green as it charges and then remain steady or slowly flashing green when fully charged. Flashing red means testing and if it remains steady or slowly flashing red it is defective.

I purchased a brand new P113 Ryobi charger about 2 years ago. It has never worked. If I put a P104 battery in for a charge, it looks like it works correctly. I push the battery tester on the battery...

If you have your receipt, check with Ryobi to see if it is still under warranty. It comes with either a 2 or 3 year warranty, depending on when it was purchased. If it is still covered, get it replaced/repaired. If it is not, buy the P117 charger. $30 at Home Depot. It has a 90 day satisfaction guarantee. If it charges your batteries properly, you're good. If not, bring it back if you don't like/want it. My P113 won't get out of test mode now, or charge Lithium batteries anymore. So I bought the P117 yesterday. Works great, and it's a lot cheaper than new batteries! And it has a 3 year warranty.

Is the green light supposed to flash while charging lithium batteries> just got the p113 charger but no instructions in the dang box

I have used alot of battery type drills and other action tools . Ryobi is on the lower end of the market as opposed to Milwaulkee and Dewalt . But my experience with battery operated tool charging equipment is that if the light is green and it's blinking , I would say it's charging . When the light goes off or stays on . I would say it's charged . Leaving the battery or batteries in the charging unit for 24 hours will not hurt the battery . My solution here is put it in the charger , and check it 12 hours later !

Ryobi p103 battery charged but dosen't work.

You need to have the charger tested, if you know that batteries are good then what else could it be. This LIon charger has a logic circuit in it like a computer.

Have a p103 battery that was in the p113 charger overnight and don't think it ever got out of the testing phase. The only difference was that the red light would flash about 5 or 6 times then stay on...

If you are sure your charger is working properly then your one battery may be shot.. i even had a new battery quit charging and had to replace it. they do not come cheap.

Can I leave my Ryobi P113 charger with a P103 battery inserted in it for an indefinite amount of time with the charger plugged in, without doing damage to the battery or charger? Thank you. Phil

Yes you can that is an automatic charger when it is fully charged it shuts down the charging portion but keeps the charged light lit however this does not effect the battery.
