I have eight atomic clocks, none of them have the outside temperature working, all have new batteries???

If your outside temperature is not showing on your clock, that may mean that the clock and the transmitter have lost their connection. To reconnect them you must first take the batteries out of both of the units for 15 minutes. First put the batteries back into the transmitter, and then the clock. Let them sit side by side inside your home. When both the indoor and outdoor temperatures show on your clock with the same reading, or within two degrees of each other, then you may put your transmitter back outside. Remember to keep the transmitter out of the direct sun in a dry place. Also keep it away from metal, which can affect the readings.

The battery on my van van is brand new in November but last week my bike cut out while moving because the battery was completely dead. I charged it up but it's gone flat again.what is happening an

sounds like you have a charging system problem. If you jumped the bike off of another vehicle you likely fried the regulator and/or the stator or they could have a bag connection (never jump start a bike/scooter etc). the voltage regulator converts the AC power produced by the stator and converts it into DC power so the battery can charge. If it's not converting the power the AC power will continually go into and out of the battery (since AC power moves back and forth instead of in a straight line like DC power.) Look up the testing procedures for the voltage regulator or take it to shop. you could also find one for cheap on ebay if you don't want to take it to a technician.

Ac stopped working, then lost raido and clock and now power door locks wont work

Start at fuse box... replace fuses blown. is it an after market stereo? if so may have exposed wires shorting out in back, which are any 12volt wires that are bare and touch any metal on car.

I need instructions for my timex clock

Hello
Here are the instructions for your clock-radio.

Installation

1* Remove unit and all packing materials from the carton. You should save packing

materials in case unit needs to be returned for service. If you do not wish to save the

materials, please dispose of them properly.

2* Place the unit on a stable, level surface, close to an AC outlet, out of direct sunlight,

and away from sources of dust, dirt, heat, water, moisture, vibration, or magnetic fields.

3* After installing the batteries (see below) and reading the Maintenance notes, plug the

AC cord into an outlet.

"Sure Alarm" Battery Backup Installation

It is strongly recommended that 2 "AA" batteries be installed into the unit, as directed below,

in order to activate this product's "Sure Alarm" Battery Backup feature. (The model should

come with two batteries already installed.) In the event that the AC power cord is disconnected

or a power failure or other interruption occurs, the "Sure Alarm" Battery Backup will maintain

clock and alarm settings for the life of the battery, ensuring that the alarm (buzzer only) will

sound at the set time. During any interruptions the time and alarm settings will be saved

and automatically restored when AC power is again active.

1* Gently turn the unit over and remove the battery

compartment door.

2. Install 2 "AA" batteries (alkaline is recommended for

longer life), while making sure that the + and - ends

match up with those inside the battery compartment.

3* Slide the battery compartment door back on, making

sure the door locks into place, and gently return the
unit to its upright position.

Wrong date on the radio.

RESETTING THE CLOCK AFTER A TOTAL MEMORY LOSS

If you do not change the built in lithium battery within a reasonable period of time after you see the ‘flashing’ LOW BATT. warning indicator, the lithium battery may become exhausted and will no longer be able to supply back up power to the SmartSet internal computer.

If the unit is disconnected from the AC outlet after the battery is exhausted, or if a power interruption occurs, the SmartSet memory will be lost and the clock will need to be reset when the power is restored. Be sure to install a fresh lithium battery before you reset the clock, otherwise the clock will need to be reset each time the power is interrupted.

If the lithium battery is exhausted and you experience an interruption in the AC power supply, the clock will reset itself to its initial default setting when the power is restored.

The initial default setting is “12:00 AM, Saturday, January 1
(1 1), 2005”.

If you notice that the time on your SmartSet clock radio is completely incorrect, and the day indicator is also wrong, press the MONTH/DATE button to see the date. If the date display is showing “1 1” (January 1 ), you probably experienced
a total memory loss. To reset the clock after a total memory loss, proceed as follows:

1.) Install a new CR2430 lithium battery in the battery compartment.

2.) Connect the radio to your AC outlet and let the clock set itself.

3.) Depress the MONTH/DATE and TIME buttons together. The display will change from ‘time’ to ‘year’. While holding the MONTH/DATE and TIME buttons, press the UP button to
set the display to the correct year, then release the buttons.

4.) Depress the MONTH/DATE button. The display will change from ‘time’ to 'month/date’ (mm/dd). While holding the MONTH/DATE button, press the UP button to set the display
to the correct month and date. The Day indicator will change automatically as you adjust the month/date settings. When the correct month and date appear on the display, release the buttons.

5.) Depress the TIME button and the UP button to set the display to the correct time. Be sure to confirm that you have set the time correctly to ‘AM’ or ‘PM’ by observing the AM indicator.

6.) After you set the time, reconfirm that the Day, and Month/Date displays are still correct. Make final adjustments if necessary.

The SmartSet clock memory is now reset and the new lithium battery will maintain it for the next 5 to 8 years, depending on the number and duration of the power outages you experience.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
After resetting the clock, don’t forget to reset your wake up times, and alarm mode settings, and sleep timer settings as well.

Nc6320 Laptop power

hello the first thing to make sure of is that the ac adaptor cable is not having any partial contacts ofany kind whereby power gets into the laptop irregularly.this could have adverse effect on the circuitry. it is not enough just checking the output of the ac adapter by a meter.try straighten the cable from the adapter and check the meter for voltage fluctuations. if the above is okay then the problem could be on board leve.
