If it is under warranty, take it back. If not then it is a simple matter of replacing the switch. Take off the cover and pull out the switch. Mark each wire as you take it off. Take the switch with you to the store. First try a hardware store, then an auto parts store. If they don't have it try Sears. They will probably be able order it. Make sure you have the model number of your grinder. It is on a data plate somewhere on the grinder. If Sears can't get it, try a wholesale electrical parts house.

How do I tune a carberator on a 7.5hp mercury outboard

(Carburetor Adjustment - Single S/S Adjustable Needle Valve)

Initial setting is: Slow speed = seat gently, then open 1-1/2 turns.

Start engine and set the rpms to where it just stays running. In segments of 1/8 turns, start to turn the S/S needle valve in. Wait a few seconds for the engine to respond. As you turn the valve in, the rpms will increase. Lower the rpms again to where the engine will just stay running.

Eventually you'll hit the point where the engine wants to die out or it will spit back (sounds like a mild backfire). At that point, back out the valve 1/4 turn. Within that 1/4 turn, you'll find the smoothest slow speed setting.

Note: As a final double check setting of the slow speed valve(s), if the engine has more than one carburetor, do not attempt to gradually adjust all of the valves/carburetors at the same time. Do one at a time until you hit the above response (die out or spit back), then go on to the next valve/carburetor. It may be necessary to back out "all" of the slow speed adjustable needle valves 1/8 turn before doing this final adjustment due to the fact that one of the valves might be initially set ever so slightly lean.

The camera says the sd card is too slow

If you are try to video capture and the SD card is a Class 4 speed then it is too slow for videos.
Use a Class 8 or Class 10 SD memory card and this will fix your problem.

Phips food processor hr2833 motor availiabilety and cost since it is slow running and smoke coming up and no speed

Brushes may be bad. Heating the windings and glue, causing the smoke. It is a fire hazzard if contunues. Is it worth it to have the motor rebuilt? That is, if the heat damage isn't severe.

1998 Ford Windstar 3.8...a few problems... 1) drive belt keeps slipping off 2) smoking coming from under hood on side of engine where belt is, temp gauge not showing hot and smelling a bit like...

Hi, 1 & 2 sounds like you need a water pump.
3: probably the vehicle speed sensor has packed up.
4: could be a number of things, vacuum leak or maybe idle air control valve
5: replace switch.

I can provide specifics on any and all of these depending an what you want to tackle.
Why don't you replace the water pump first, as that may make it drivable. Would you like instructions for replacing the water pump?

water pump is $80
speed sensor is $35
turn switch is $56

Thanks for using FixYa

The turn table turns to slow and i would like to know how to fix it. is there a manual for repairs?

Had the same problem & checked around on the net. Several people tried replacing the belt, but it had no effect. Spoke w/ several repair shops around the country and they concur with what I'd read on the net - bad motors. 3 or 4 repair/supply shops told me getting a motor would be impossible. Since I only listen to 33-1/3 LP's, I messed around w/ it a little and found a solution. Take the turntable out of the unit & you will find a small circuit board attached to the bottom. On that board is a small square blue fixture w/ a white circular "dial" in the middle (has grooves to accept a small straight blade or a phillips screw driver). This controls the voltage to the motor, which in turn controls the motor RPM's. If you set the selector switch to 78, you can experiment /w turning that white circular "dial" to slow the motor down. It isn't very hard to get the speed set properly. The down side is that you will only be able to play 33-1/3 LP's, but they are probably the most common anyways. I assume you could do the same to set the speed for a 45, rather than a 33-1/3. But you will only be able to play 1 size LP on the 78 speed setting. While it's not a "fix", it's an easy adjustment that can keep an otherwise in-op turntable functioning. Good luck!

I have Thomas Pacconi turntable which is about 5 years old but only used a few times. I tried it today and the 75 switch works but it turns too slowly on 45 & 33 speeds. Model TPC 7475

I wouldn't turn it on again , if the switch is smoking then for all practical purpose;s the brush;s are nearly shot as well.
