HP 3015 No fax detected

You can change the settings on the control panel of the printer.



1) restore the printer.

2)turn off the ecm (error correction)

3)turn off the v.34



4)turn on the silent detect.

in case we still have th same issue

then select the menu button once

then select the * & # together

u will see the developers menu

then with the help of the arrow keys check for the r/w parameters

select enter

type in the value 153 and select enter

change the values to 6

select enter.

printer will be back to the ready mode.

then select same options.....

go to r/w parameters again select enter

type the no 159

change the values to 6 again

select enter



now try to send/recieve faxes

it should work.

if not try the firmware upgarde from this link

if it still doesnot work then the fax modem has a issue.

get the printer serviced.
