I had a Kenwood mixer "chef excel" which I bought many years ago.
After using it for almost 20 years the engine burned.
I still have the shredder, the liquidiser and the mincer.
If I buy the Kenwood km305 will I be able to use them?
It says on their instruction books : to use with all A900 type models.

I live in the US and have an old Kenwood KM230 Mixer that I absolutely love. Unfortunately I can not locate a replacement for the spashguard that has now cracked. The old splashguard item # 27215/31227 is the replacement spashguard....any solutions
Hi, maybe your circuit its not burning, in theses models its normally the capacitor or triac, resistor as well,
with just change thats components the machine working again
It may be the motor but it is most likely a burnt out capacitor, these can be replaced for around £30. It is not a DIY job unless you know a qualified electrician as soldering is involved. Best to take it in for repair if you think it is worth it.

What you need is a service manual which is difficult to get for any Chef regardless of the KM300. Ive got a KM310 model but the user manual is similar to this if it helps:
