Your best bet is to reset the System Management Controller;
(I'm not sure if your model has a removable battery or not, so I'm providing both methods)

Resetting the SMC on Mac portables with a battery you can remove
Note: Learn about removing the battery on MacBook and MacBook Pro.

  1. Shut down the computer.
  2. Disconnect the MagSafe power adapter from the computer, if it's connected.
  3. Remove the battery.
  4. Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds.
  5. Release the power button.
  6. Reconnect the battery and MagSafe power adapter.
  7. Press the power button to turn on the computer.

Resetting the SMC on portables with a battery you should not remove on your own
Note: Portable computers that have a battery you should not remove on your own include MacBook Pro (Early 2009) and later, all models of MacBook Air, and MacBook (Late 2009).

  1. Shut down the computer.
  2. Plug in the MagSafe power adapter to a power source, connecting it to the Mac if its not already connected.
  3. On the built-in keyboard, press the (left side) Shift-Control-Option keys and the power button at the same time.
  4. Release all the keys and the power button at the same time.
  5. Press the power button to turn on the computer.
    Note
: The LED on the MagSafe power adapter may change states or temporarily turn off when you reset the SMC.

...and then reset the Parameter RAM:

  1. Shut down the computer.
  2. Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command, Option, P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
  3. Turn on the computer.
  4. Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys. You must press this key combination before the gray screen appears.
  5. Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
  6. Release the keys.

I've had random freezing issues on my mid-2009. Hoping this will solve the issue.

@Robin R: Post a new question with as many specific possible if the SMC reset doesn't fix your freezing issue and I'll answer it as best I'm able. The more specifics the better!

CAN I UPGRADE TO MAVERICKS ON APPLE MACBOOK 2007 LAPTOP

Yes anything with a core 2 duo should work. The only requirement that I'm aware of is 64bit processor and Core 2 Duo is just that. Now if it was a Core Duo (or Core Solo) this would not work.

I’m happy to help further over the phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/matt_7e951e081251ffbc

CAN I UPGRADE FROM OS X LEOPARD 10.5 TO MAVERICKS

Nope, yo can upgrade to osx lion (10.7 max),
Apple says you'll need a better graphics card if you want to use mavericks.
Your macbook has a Intel GMA x3100 which is unsupported.

Try osx lion if you hace 4gb of RAM. It's cool :)

Cheerio :)

Keyboard and touchpad not working on macbook a1181 but power botton work fine

I've found the same problem - keyboard, touchpad and mouse buttons not responsive - and was almost ordering a new KB/touchpad replacement, thinking they were bad. I searched the internet and found that people had already done that with negative results. Studying the KB/touchpad circuit board I found that the controller was a USB device. So I had an idea, why not test it using one external USB port. I soldered the proper wires to a USB plug and connected it to a side USB port and, voil?!, it worked. Then, I removed 2 inductors from the original D+ and D- lines to isolate the KB/touchpad connector and soldered 2 pieces of wire to one of the side USB ports - in sequence, I covered that port with a small aluminum plate to avoid it being used for another device. Reassembled the computer and everything is working fine, back to normal (with one less USB port, of course).

I bought Macbook air 11"

This exact same thing happened to me, the only way I got my laptop to work again was to reinstall the laptop's original operating system software. Follow the instructions on this website:
http://www.ehow.com/how_4894762_reset-apple-mac-book.html
By doing this your macbook should work again, but all information on your harddrive will be erased including non-standard applications such as word ect...

Iam ahmed morad Want Driver For apple macbook A1181 For Win7

You can install Windows 7 on a MacBook using either Apple's Boot Camp, VMWare Fusion, Parallels, or a combination of these.
Once you have finished installing Windows 7, you should shut it down, insert the gray disc #1 that came with your Macintosh, then start up Windows and let the disc contents autorun. This will install Windows drivers for the Apple hardware. If the disc does not autorun, just run it manually from My Computer.

Lost install disc 1

You may be able to download an OSX operating system, but it will not be free, and if you computer is doing that, then you will not be able to get onto net. You will need to buy it at a mac specialist. If you have another computer try finding it in "limewire" this is a filesharing program, so be careful what you download as there are legal and illegal copies of stuff.
