The SD1100 can use SDHC cards up to 32GB in size. If you need more memory, you can use multiple cards simply by removing the card in the camera and inserting another one.

You can buy SDHC cards at any department, electronics, or office-supply store.

Memory card

I have seen elsewhere that the camera was not originally capable of handling a card larger than 1GB. But have also seen where it may be possible to update/upgrade the camera's firmwear to handle larger cards. The update would be available on Kodak's website. Here is a link to the user's manual if you need it. http://resources.kodak.com/support/pdf/en/manuals/urg01114/C142_xUG_GLB_en.pdf

I d need to get a larger memory car for this camera like a 4GB please advice.

4G is huge for an older camera like this. Are you sure you want 4GB of storage? May not even take anything larger than 1GB, look up specs and find max memory stick size.

Good Morning, I keep getting a warning "unable to

This camera will only handle a 16GB capacity flash card the camera Firmware will not allow for larger cards. I ran into a similar problem (different camera) but solved the dilemma with updating the camera firmware. I can only suggest you check out your camera model on the Sony web site for updates if you purchase Memory Cards larger then 16GB. If you have cards under 16GB check make sure your camera is set for memory card and not reading from the Internal memory. Another crazy thing is make sure your clock is working (day date & time) and set correctly.

Camera tells me "memory card requires formatting."

Your memory card is larger than 2GB, isn't it? The CX7330 works with MMC and SD cards. If your card is larger than 2GB then it's actually an SDHC card. While SDHC cards will fit into the camera, they are electronically incompatible and won't work in the CX7330.

My canera is saying insert the memory stick

Do you have a memory stick storage device? These cameras have a small internal memory built in. But to take more photos once its full this memory storage device is needed. There a several models with different sizes. Also, look into the owners manual and learn how to adjust the size of the photo. The larger the size, or input, the less total number of photos you can store. Large size photos are intended to print at a higher quality or larger size which you many not need. Search the Internet for Sony Memory Sticks or go to a local photo store (call first and ask if they carry Sony products). Good luck.

MEMORY CARD LIMIT Z 730 CAMERA

I believe the largest card that will work in your camera is a 2gb. Larger cards are of the newer SDHC type, which is not compatable with many slightly older cameras.

Missing memory card

In all probability the memory card that came with your PDR-3300 was:

SD 8 MB Toshiba Memory Card.

SD cards with a much larger MB can be obtained at any large Drug Store, i.e. Walgreens, CVS, etc.

At the present time, these cards, 32 MB and larger are very inexpensive.

Memory card for Olympus FE270

The larger the image, the more space it consumes, your new camera is producing files that are twice as large as the old one did. Buy a larger memory card, they are quite inexpensive these days.

The shutter wont engage.

Preliminary searching leads me to believe that this camera won't take anything larger than a 1GB memory card.
