Go to Sony's web site and download the specific driver for your display. Make sure you download the correct 32 or 64bit version otherwise it won't even recognise it.
Check with Sony that it is a compatible OS version as some do not support Win7.
Hope this helps.
Testimonial: "Thanks a lot for the info. How do i know if this model support win 7 or not without calling sony? Thanks again for your help."
How can i check to see if this Sony model support win 7 or not without calling Sony?
If you browse your user manual, either online or in your booklet, it should state the OS that the laptop will accept, hopefully including Win7 and also if your laptop has "Dual Core" processing, it may even support 64bit which will really make it fly!
Manufacturers usually advertise the latest software on their pcs. Toshiba, for instance, have written on stickers everywhere that, "Toshiba recommend Win 7".
I have just come of Sony's web site and it looks like Win 7 is not supported. Try the Vista download here: http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/swu-lis...
Hope that helps.

Thanks, I have been on that website, but used the Vista video controller driver and it did not work. I will try the XP video driver and see if Win 7 will take it. Funny thing is that video controller is the only hardware that did not work, it kind of frustrating. I just might have to go back to the dreaded Vista. Thanks for your help.
