When start the copier, functional problems SC322-00 indicated plain paper come out

Please go into your device settings and look for the title "Disable Auto Key Repeat" or something like "disable key counter" . Click/press option to disable the key counter

If this does not work, please reference the device's manual to find the settings section and then check for a key-disable function.

The Ink at the head of your Printer Cartridges has dried up.
Try this:

Load some plain paper in the printer

Remove the cartridges from the printer and carefully dab the print heads of the cartridges with a damp paper towel. ( when you start to see ink, the ink is starting to flow).

Replace the cartridges into the printer.

Go to:

Start
Control Panel
Printers
RIGHT click on this printer
choose Printing preferences
services
clean print cartridges 9some papers may print)
follow the instructions and do the heavier cleaning as well

Run the calibration function and allow the paper to print.

the device is programmed at the factory as a default to switch. try two things,1st function, general, key operator, code 0000, then at number 1(paper size) select bypass and then change media to letterhead or something other than plain.

2nd, function, general, key operator, code 0000, then at number 4 ( special paper tray 1) designate the bypass as a special tray. this should "exclude" the tray from available tray. good luck

On most Kyocera Mita copiers a J-11 code indicates a possible paper jam when paper is being fed from drawer #1, but sometimes a J-11 will be indicated when the paper fails to feed from the drawer. Check the paper stops and paper guides in the drawer and make sure that they are flush against the paper, also cleaning the paper feed and pick-up rollers with a rag dampened with just plain water will help sometimes unless the rollers are completely worn out. If all this doesn't help you may have a paper feed clutch or lift motor that has failed.

Do a paper path test from each tray in diagnostics on the control paneland check Printer Properties for PAPER HANDLING

Do you mean the "Out of paper" alarm? Check that all paper trays have paper. The by-pass tray should be prperly set to receiv "Legal" size paper and have that size paper in that tray.

My printer will print on every type of paper i set it to in the preferences, except "plain paper". the machine also doesn't copy when set to plain paper also. I printed a report cover on matte paper which printed fine, but when i change back to plain paper, it doesn't print.
