I have not run across a free instruction manual, the only one I saw was on the www.singerco.com site and they are $15 for a hard copy. I may not be a bad investment if you plan on keeping the machine. It shows you much more than threading and will be invaluable for advice on settings and maintenance.

How to thread a singer sewing machine serial ZHC313405023 Model 1525?

It's possible that you do not have your bobbin or bobbin case in correctly. If you do not have your user's manual (which you should use like your bible), download it free at the Singer website. Review the threading steps for both top and bottom.

One more VERY IMPORTANT thing. On ANY model sewing machine going back to their invention from any company, you MUST thread with the presser foot UP. That is because there are tension disks that apply tension to the upper thread that are ONLY spread apart when the foot is up. If it's down, the thread can't get between them, and there's no tension on the upper thread. That might also be your problem.

Still no free manual for singer 1525 Yes, for white 1525. I still need the one for Singer 1525. PS none at singerco.com

Call Singer at 1-800-4singer and ask why there is no free manual. Maybe they will make it available. Worth a try.

How do I thread my Singer 7422?

I suggest you do a search on youtube on how to thread a sewing machine and choose a video showing a similar machine as there are really only about 3 basic types of machine as regards the threading.
Some of these instruction videos are very good and you will find it much easier than explanations. However-the important thing is that the thread must go between the tension discs by your tension regulator and do make sure you have a good need le in the machine, inserted correctly.
