1 should be low setting
2 should be high setting
If both settings put out the same heat, then the 6A diode is shorted.

How to replace a cylinder head on 2001 Ford Expedition 4.6 L V8

Actually, rather than replace the head, you can fix the spark plug hole with a "Time-Sert":

http://www.timesert.com/

One thing they talk about on the site, "Ford spark plug blow-out? Repair kit part number 5553 Ford Triton spark plug kit will repair blown out spark plug's in Ford heads."
Here's the page for Ford's repair kits:

http://www.timesert.com/html/sparkplugford.html

I've used these for years, and they work great!
Much better than a Helicoil, as the Time-Sert retains full thread strength!

But....I would STILL recommend removing the head to do this repair, so as to avoid metal chips/shavings from falling into the cylinder, but you'll save the cost of a new head!

Best way to fix a stripped engine oil drain plug on a kawasaki klr 650

Yes, yes, and yes.

A Time-sert is the best, as they actually have kits specially for drain plugs.

They're better than heli-coils, because they give full thread strength.
Also, a heli-coil's alright for something like a stud that you'll put in once, then leave alone.
But it it's something that you'll remove and reinstall time after time (like a spark plug, or a drain plug), eventually the heli-coil starts to UNcoil on you.

When you install the Time-Sert, the end threads (the first to go into the threaded hole) are expanded outward into the threads it screws into, locking it into place, but still allows removal with a EZ-Out if down the road you damage it.
For a drain plug I'd put a dab of thread dope (the paste, rather than the tape) on the threads just for a little added insurance against leakage.
Time-Serts come in different lengths, so you can measure and get one that is shorter than the material thickness you are installing it in so it doesn't protrude, which allows for full drainage of the oil.

L had to drill out a bolt that broke.lt one of the bolts that hold the footpeg bracket on but when i drilled it out it made the hole bigger l try a bigger bolt and its a little to small

You need to get a 'Helicoil' or 'Time-sert' kit for that particular thread (diameter & pitch)
They come with a larger drill & tap + inserts
'Time-serts' by Wurth UK are the best but expensive for 1 thread (I know I have most popular sizes)

Hope this helps (if so please mark as very helpful)

I have IBM 300pl. And it has strange fan problem.

A fan that no longer works will cause a heat problem. While it may not cause a complete failure, it can cause some strange things to start happening. Your best best is to shut the PC down and remove the cover. Restart the PC an determine which fan(s) has stopped working.

At this point, you can either 1) contact IBM for a replacement fan or 2) remove the fan yourself and google the name and model number of the fan to find a direct replacement and either order online or 3) visit a local PC repair shop to buy a replacement fan that matches the defective one.

Buying direct from IBM will probably cost the most, but will be the exact type needed for your PC. Buying locally will probably be cheaper and faster, but may not be an exact replacement unless it is the same model, etc.

When calling IBM you'll need the computer model, serial number and any other identifying numbers on it for them to help you out.
