Vacuum not picking up

Since using the wand attachment, the indicator (green) light no longer comes on and the vacuum barely picks up anything.

Hoover windtunnel, wand does not pick up

Hi, it's Cindy from Crucial Vacuum.

It sounds like your vacuum wand is clogged. A great trick is to remove your wand as per your manual and run a coin through it. If it comes out properly, check the place it attaches, as it may have thick debris. If it does not come out the other end, clear the clog in the hose.

Clogged light staying on despite there being no clog, won't pick up anything with even just the hose.

If the light goes out if you disconnect the hose, there's something in the hose or wand.

Vacuum not picking up dirt

The neck in your power head is likely clogged. Disconnect from the wand and look inside. Also check the wand.Since you have suction on the bare floor the hose is likely not blocked.

Vacuum not picking up

At the top of your wand, do you have a plastic swivel that cover a hole in the wand? This is for when you are cleaning curtains, and if that is open, or cracked you will loose suction there... also check your hose for cracks, or breaks. If it were in the shop I would put a gauge on it... normal suction is about 80-95 inches of water lift at the end of the hose. Once you have check each section of the hose, and wand, check the housing for cracks, a missing gasket (Very Good Reason For Lack Of Suction) As to your Filter, how long have you used that one filter, you can clean them for a while, but once a paper filter gets full of FINE dust you won't get it all out, you will have to replace the filter itself at that point. I hope this was helpful.

Vaccuum forms in hose- will not pick up dirt

Check your wand for a clog. The DC17 line has common clog issues in its wand. It may be difficult to remove but if you have a long skinny pole(like one for curtains) you can use that to remove the clog.
