Says, it want new ink (three colours)

The nozzle may be blocked. So take out the colour cartridge and place its nozzle in a bit of water for about 10 mins. Bring it out and dab the nozzle with folded paper. If the tissue is blotted with the three colour it means you have unblocked the nozzle. Try now to print after returning the colour cartridge. You may need to repeat to get good results.

No sorry it will not work with just the 1 ink it have to have all inks or printer not work

burn that printer. i have the same problem with mine. brother printers are just a waste of money!!!

Try to clean the head several times.

Yellow is one of the colours used to produce a shade of red.

I don't know how but ther must be a way to print a test page to see if the print heads need cleaning I've never used a brother.

There is a diagnostic routine to purge any air from the ink tubes, done at a repair shop. When that doesn't work you need a new printhead, aprox. $79.00 plus labor.

If you buy a printer with both a color cartridge, and a black cartridge, you must have both cartridges in the printer for it to work. I don't know of any ink jet or lazer printer that will work without all cartridges installed and in goo shape.

My Brother DCP-115C I have replaced colours Cyan and Magenta both colours still will not print. Ihave gone through the cleaning procedures still will not print these colours

Take all carts out. Close cover. Wait a minute. Unplug machine from power. Wait a minute. Plug machine to power again. Machine demands carts. Insert carts as demanded by display.Set date and time.

good chance....Print head is blocked very common, what sort of inks were used?

 

 Not economical to repair, buy new!
