Ok well my blackberry curve 8520 was lightly tapped on a desk now the screen is all frigged up u can see anything and there is lines of colours nd i tried taking the battery out and back in but nothing worked nd i dont know how to fix it nd i really dont wanna lose any information i have or stuff i have on my phone by replacing it but i dont no what to do

Ok there are some things you need to do.
1 you need the disc that came with your 8520 This disc help you load desk top software. 2 You will need to backup your phone. You can still use this older software.It was make for the older blackberry. Now is your phone for personal or business. If you can backup all your important information on a 8-16 gb micro scan memory card. The more gbs on the memory card the more room you will have.If you need help ican walk you through the process on your computer. The curve is an older blackberry. It can be a memory problem. I suggest you get a bigger memory card and put it into your phone.

1 - Switch on your Blackberry 8520 Curve with any Sim card and Turn off all Wireless connections.

Sounds like your screen is physically broken. If your Somebody needs to open your Blackberry and replace it. If you want somebody else to do it for you go to Blackberry Repair. If you want to do it yourself, here is an Blackberry 8520 Repair Guide that shows how to repair a Blackberry.

just re install the blackberry operatind system software into ur fon from ur computer................and go on ....................or u can take off the battery and put it into again and press the return key when the red light goes off and till ur cell completly opens dont leave the return key..............it opens ur cell in safemode and u can deal with the error in safe mode

Sounds like you have a broken LCD screen. Somebody needs to open your blackberry to replace it. Go to your provider, they might replace the phone for you. I have the same problem, but it's a vertical white line.  I have a BB Curve 8310.  From what I've researched on the web, it seems the LCD screen wud have to be replaced.
