E2180 and E2140 should be installed in a "Socket 775" motherboard. Go to the website of the manufacturer/brand name of the motherboard and click on Support. Locate your exact model of motherboard and click on Download drivers. Then select which operating system you are using (example: Windows XP or Windows 7 64-bit, etc.) There will be a list of necessary drivers for you to download and install. The motherboard manufacturer always has the drivers for their brand name.
CPUs dont use drivers because its a pre-boot hardware item. You can make changes to how it preforms in the bios or even overclock it but there is no drivers for processors.
You can download the motherboarddevice drivers from Intel WEB site. Select your model motherboard/device, andmake sure you select the Windows XP or Vista version of the drivers that
matches your Windows operating system.
