On my Ixus 70, I can only "embed" the date on pictures when "Postcard Mode" is selected. Press "Func/Set", go down to the bottom icon on the left (sets picture size) then go right to "Postcard" (looks like mountains, will say Postcard when selected) then press Func/set button again. Now press "Menu", scroll down to "Date stamp" and set it to "Date" and press "Menu" button again.

Once embedded, the date cannot be removed later.

How to download pics from Canon ixus 75 to my new desktop

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use Canon's ZoomBrowser or any other photo cataloging program.

Hi all, pls hep me to set up the date stamp on my canon ixus 75. i used to have it on my camera. Thank you

The date stamp only works in Postcard mode. Press Func/set, scroll down to the bottom, then across to the mountain with clock icon. "Postcard" will appear in the selection. Press Func/set.

Now press Menu, scroll down to Date Stamp and across to set date or date and time, then press menu again.

Canon Ixus 75: "Date stamp" does not work. I want to have time & date on the photos, but I can not do it. How can I fix this?

Image size (L, M1, M2, M3, S, Postcard) must be set to Postcard. Then make sure that on the Record menu Date Stamp is set to Date or Date/Time.

How do I turn the date stamp on canon ixus 75 ? want the date printed on front of my pics.

The date and time (and a lot more) are stored with every picture in its EXIF metadata. Any photo viewing/editing program should be able to display this data. To print this data, please consult the documentation for whatever program you're using to print your pictures. Depending on the program and printer you may print the date on the image, in the margins, or on the back.

Date and Time

Do you have the Camera User Guide~~~It tells you how to set it on p37

or
I found this on the Camera User Guide

steps
1.press the function/setting button
2.on the left side, there's a column displaying various features, and then you go to select the very last one, and then it will displays more options for you to choose(L,M1,M2,M3,S, postcard, etc), and then "postcard" is the one you should choose.
3.After that, go to "menu", go down to the very bottom on the option list, you will see that the "Date Stamp" is being set "off", go there and choose other options (date/date and time). This is how you can display time on the pictures.
