I need an owners manual. I have had the hoveround charging for approximately 36 hours, it seems to turn on but does not move.

PK 36 hours charging is too long you will damage the chair and the batteries. You shouldn't have to charge more than 12 hours and never more than 24. If the batteries are weak the chair might power up but you don't have the power to energize the motors. If you have a digital voltmeter set it to 200 volts dc and plug the leads into the two outter holes of the charger port located on the joystick. You should be reading 25-27 volts with the batteries fully charged. Anything less than 20 volts will not be enough to power the chair. Hope this helps you

Regarding your Hoveround ?..If you purchased it from Hoveround, you should contact Hoveround directly. They made the chair. They will probably service it for you, and provide any detailed information you'll need. Go to their website http://www.hoveround.com) and see the Contact Us page. But, if you bought your chair used, well...maybe they will still give you some help.

The chair will not do anything. It shows the battery as fully charged and and that is it. It was given to me by my mother in law when she passed away because I am also handicapped but had lostb the owners...

When you connect the charger, if the light goes to red to green within a few minutes and the battery power does not last more than 1-2 hours or less, it may indicate that that the batteries will not take a charge anymore and need to be replaced. This can happen if the power chair is stored without being charged for a while. Batteries retail $75-$150 each depending on the model and brand, you will need two of them.
