try charging it for longer... or if it really is a 50 second charge lithium-ion battery (which i reckon would explode and set a decent area of your carpet on fire) then replace it since it is not holding its charge...
Your charger could be giving out too little voltage...
I dont believe it charges in 50 seconds for 30 pictures.
