I have samsung wave 533.i want install samsung kies on my pc windows xp so that i can download samsung apps on my phone.help me by elaborating the procedure to install kies on my pc.

after plugging the usb cable you need to go to menu Settings Connectivity USB USB debugging.
or just choose to see the memory and set
Settings Connectivity USB Mass storage Set.
Or yhou can use Samsung Kies, which you need to install
In Menu mode, select 1 Settings Connectivity
USB Samsung Kies Set.
First install a program called Samsung Kies on your computer, it should come bundled with your phone on a CD but if not you can find it on the internet very easy (google "samsung kies download"). After you have installed this, use your USB-cable that you got with your phone - plug one end in to the phone and insert the other into your computers USB-port.

Step I: Download the latest version of Samsung Kies from official site of Samsung Kies. The latest version of Kies is: Kies_2.0.0.11044.

Step II: Open Samsung Kies and connect your Samsung Wave with PC (Wait for driver installation, if you have attached your phone for the first time with your pc)
As soon as Kies will detect your phone it will offer a prompt of new firmware update available, see the screenshot below

Click on UPDATE button
Step III: Now you will face a window of 'Agree to the Terms and Conditions." You can choose the option of save and don't save the information. This option is that, Samsung will store your information of IP and hardware specifications on their servers for 2 years. It is totally dependent on you, which you want to choose.

Step IV: It is strongly recommended not to disconnect your phone from PC until the upgrading process is complete. So take care of it.
Within few minutes (depends upon the speed of your internet connection). Upgrading process will move on and will complete successfully.

Note: Don't use any options on your phone, while the upgrading process is taking place, your phone will be restarted. DON'T PANIC!
Your phone will come to working state automatically and your Samsung Wave is successfully upgraded to Bada 1.2
You May need to install the drivers and utilities on to the computer so it can recognize the phone you should have a driver disc if not you `might need to go to the manufactures web site and down load them
I have a samsung galaxy S and the phone doesnt come with a cd and neither does yours. What you need to do is go to: http://mea.samsungmobile.com/ENG/support/softwaremanuals/softwareKiesUpdate.do?phone_model=GT-S7233 When the page loads up there should be a button saying "Download Kies" it should be under the bit that says how to upgrade. You need to click that button and download Kies. Kies is a program that all new samsung phones are using, once download has completed and you have installed kies it gives your computer the essential drivers it needs to recognise your phone. The website also explains how to connect your phone after the installation is complete.
