Try taking the guitar back to the store where you got it. Recreate the sound. If it is a faulty connection they will know what to do about it.
I am assuming that your guitar is not under warranty and is probably used, if not take it back to where you bought it and get a replacement or a repair. If you bought it used try this: Take the knobs off and remove any covers left that are covering the electronics inside. once exposed look carefully and see if you find a wire that has come off. If you find one, try to locate where it came from (should be close by). If you find the contact that is missing its connection, replace it with the wire you found and see if that solves your problem. Your question seems to say that you get no output from the guitar, so also check the 1/4 inch output jack on the guitar and make sure the wires are soldered on good. Plug the gulitar into an amp and wiggle all the wires inside the guitar and listen for changes in the speaker of your amp. Let me know if any of this helps and if not, we can try something else.
