Movies are shown at a higher resolution than games. That is why the picture is smaller with games than movies. If you turn the Auto Picture Size off, you can set lower grade video to a larger screen size but you will lose quality.
Hope that helps.

How to fix ps2 display settings

You can adjust screen display settings while playing PlayStation 2. Press the PS button on the Wireless Controller during gameplay and then select [Settings], adjust the following settings. Screen Mode Normal: Set to upscale and display at a size that matches the screen size. Full Screen: Set to upscale and display at full screen by changing proportions and stretching the image. This setting can be selected only when [Normal] or [Full Screen] is selected under Settings > [Game Settings] > [PS / PS2 Upscaler].

Cannot see score bar at top of screen during NFL games

Try operating on screen adjustment command, if there is no way to adjust screen position , then it may be a faulty component inside the TV.

Is the tv still under guaranty?

I cant see but half tge game on the screen. the other half is beyond the right side of the monitor. please help

In order to solve this problem you will need to adjust the games resolution in order to match your screen or vice versa. In order to do so in the game it should be under your video options menu. In order to adjust windows to match the game simply right click anywhere on the desktop click on personalize or properties, then click on appearance. From there you can adjust your screen size to match. simply slide the bar left or right depending on whether you want the screen to be smaller or larger and then click apply.

It is hard to tell with the information given. How old is the TV and what type of signal is being processed when this problem occurs. Does it only do it when watching TV or DVDs etc. as well.
