Km 280 mwf stop making ice just make cold water hit the reset button and nothing .the ice it is making come out so small it melt befor it hit the bottom .

i need to ask some questions so dont rate me yet is the light in the fridge on and do you hear a fan running in the freezer check to see if the compressor is running

yes the evap fan in the frezer should be running when the compressor is running[it may not for a minute or so as it starts up.Amana's are good for the connectors at the evap fan motor comming apart.the connectors are white and will look like its together but when you pull it will come apart.i would always cut the connector out and use a wire nut so wont happen again.if any other questions please email thru FixYa and i will be glad to help. I believe you solved your own prob.. definitly sounds like the fan motor stopped.
