Dell Optiplex 780, user forgot BIOS master password (which is
necessary to change the boot order to run BartPE from CD and do an image
backup).
There is a jumper on the mainboard called PSWD1, which is set
(shorted). Remove power cable from PC (CMOS battery can stay in place),
open the lid. Remove jumper from PSWD1. Reconnect power, start the PC,
hit F2 to enter BIOS. All passwords should be reset.
Leave BIOS, power off the PC, remove power cable. Reattach jumper to PSWD1, close lid, reattach power cable. Start PC. Enjoy.

Hi Kevin,
On the motherboard look for a jumper labeled PSWD.
Remove it and reboot. Go into the BIOS and make sure it is disabled.
