This is the download link for the Dlink DWL-G122 wireless adapter, however you will first have to pick your revision version from the list, this revision number will be on a sticker on the usb adapter, simply chose the right revision version and you will see the download link. Once you have it downloaded, unplug the wireless adapter, install the driver then after it is done, or when prompted by the driver install, plug the device back in

AS the adapter is probably not plug-and-play from your description, go here: Download D-Link DWL G122 driver and Download the Windows 98 driver. Install it, and you should be ready to go.
Hi Pipa, a code 10 usually refers to a faulty piece of hardware, meaning that there is no contact between hardware and pc, therefore the part may well be faulty.
This happens all the time first make sure you download the right drivers for your model for ex: d-link is have D-Link DWL-G122 vs1 or D-Link DWL-G122 vs2 make sure you download tthe right one. If you have Vista make sure you download (VistaBETA) if not download (WinXP, WinME, Win2K) also this product does not work on Mac os!
