Dell studio 17 just turned off by itself can't turn on

I think its the time you should get your hard disk changed....otherwise remove the ram from your sysem,clean its gold strip with an eraser and then try turning on your system with the two ram chips exchanged into their slots...
Try without the RAM...if a beep comes your system is working efficiently otherwise there's a problem with the motherboard...

usuaully you would just move the mouse cursor or pres a key on the keyboard to put the screen back on?

if your screen hasn't timed out, the laptop may have gone into standby or hibernation mod?
this would mean the video is no longer uploading to youtube

Won't turn on! Powers up for about 6 seconds then

If its a brand new pc, I'd get straight back on to Dell, there could be a fault and you don't want to invalidate your warranty by messing about with it.

Hello there!

I would reccomend you to send your Dell Studio to service, since there are good chances the problem is with Motheboard. I would really reccomend you that! :)
