2001 - 2002 Models:

Press the "CLK" (clock) button until the time is displayed, then press and hold the "CLK" button for at least 3 seconds until the time indicator blinks.
While the time is blinking. turn the rotary encoder to increase or decrease the minutes.
Once you've set the clock it will automatically return to normal operation after 5 seconds.
Pre 2000 Models:

Press and hold the "CLOCK" button for 3 seconds until the time indicator blinks.
Press "PRESET 5" to adjust the hour setting.
Press "PRESET 6" to adjust the minutes.
Press "CLOCK" again to exit clock adjustment mode

Hope this helps.

And to set the stations get the station you want and hold down one of the buttons from 1-6 to progream the station. you need to hold the button for about 5 sec.

When i shut my car off all the presets and the clock and settings reset! whats wrong?

you need to make sure the yellow wire is going to a constant power source. that is, a source that is still hot when you turn the key off. the yellow wire controls your memory for your clock and preset stations.

What would be a new direct replacement so I don't need to rewire. Old radio Alpine CDM-7833

Alpine changes their wire harness every couple years, you will have to rewire for a new radio but all the colors will be the same.
