Washer fills, washes but won't spin. washes back and forth just no fast spin. Since it does not spin , won't drain either. Filed complaint on GE website regarding the location of the filter. I had to clean it after I came home and found my machine still running about 3+ hours after I left it. I took out the sopping wet clothes, removed the front panel and cleaned the filter. I had trouble replacing the panel - pulled a muscle - or something - in my shoulder and am quite uncomfortable. Customer service called and said they felt the filter was reasonably easy to access and had no other complaintsand therefore offered no solution - and suggested I have "someone else" in the household help me to change the filter next time or I can call a service tech to do it...my response was do they really expect their customers to have to make a service call 2x per year to clean a filter??? Would they do that for free??? What if I were a single mom???
DOES NOT SOUND PROFESSIONAL TO ME,ALSO REMEMBER IF TUBE WILL NOT DRAIN SOMETIMES THE WATER PUMP GETS CLOGGED OR SOMETIMES THE DOOR SWITCH FAILS,I HOPE YOUR SHOULDER FEELS BETTER,TAKE IT SLOW AND EASY THE NEXT TIME YOU DO IT-MIKE
