It sounds like the batteries have gone bad and need to be replaced.
The batteries contain a gel that needs to have current run through it on a regular basis (at least 8 hours one day a week) of the gel will solidify. What is probably happening is charger light will either stay green, go to green after a very short time, or the charger will be connected for hours or days and the light never changes indicating a full charge. When you turn on the power chair, nothing happens. The charger may indicate the batteries are full, but instead of being full of power, they are full of crud as the gel inside them has oxidized. Since you are the second owner of the scooter, you will need to replace the batteries on your own. Check the owenr's manual for the correct type or contact Pride Mobility at 800-800-8586. Good luck!
