Having trouble with the date and time settings

When I try to set the date and time it never seems to stick. I go back in and it's back to the default. I don't understand why.

The Manual states that the internal clock is ran by the internal lithium battery. It suggests that you plug the cammera into the AC for 24 hours to charge this battery. I'm having the same problem and am plugging it in tonight to see how that goes.

    OK, the trick seems to be you need to remove the battery and leave the AC powered in. The minute I did this, the set time function worked.

    Update is relatively painless, takes about 7 min.

This is because of the internal battery that might have problems... not a big deal just take it to the service centers and you can surely have it checked for cheaper costs

mcdevito75 here The stem has 2 positions, we all know the 1 to pull the stem out and set the time, day, date. try this, first go thru the watches 24 hour cycle to get the month you need, now slip a fingernail just under the stem (crown) and gently lift to it"s first position, it may take a few times to get used to, when you have it turn the crown (stem) to change the date easily, change the date to 1 date before the date you want, now go thru the watches 24 hour cycle to get to the date you need. Now the watch is set and will change on time at around mid--nite.

ok, have your calculator set on "on" press the "time/clock" button once, when date appears on calculator press the "M+=" and hold until first number on date flashes, enter the date you want, when done switch your calculator from "on" to "print". date should be saved. do the same for time.
