The speakers dont work even though the whole system is plugged correctley the light that should be lite near the volume controller is not working kindly help me in knowing the problem

if your computer came with a motherboard disc the sound drivers could be on it
click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll to sound, video and game controllers you might see a yellow question exclamation mark? ! or a red X Right click to reinstall drivers if you dont have a motherboard disk you will need to download the sound drivers
click start control panel sounds and audio, volume, advanced, speakers make sure you have selected the
(((appropriate speakers))) also audio you will find 3 drop down lists make sure you have the correct settings there
also
click start control panel sounds and audio devices select advanced there might be a tick in the mute box untick it
if his does not fix the problem
click start control panel sounds and audio devices you can adjust the volume there also select speaker volume you can change your settings there you can also tick in the box place icon in taskbar for any further volume control settings you will need to right click on the volume icon system select adjust volume

click start control panel sounds and audio, volume, advanced, speakers select the appropriate speakers from the drop down list or navigate to the device manager scroll to system devices + to expand, system speaker right click properties then select use this device (enable) also you might check
the speakers plug/outlet is usually at the back of the computer you will have to open up the computer to check the lead attached to the rear of the input plug make sure the connection is good
try cleaning your computer of dust using a fine air blower from a compressor making VERY sure that there is no MOISTURE in the air line specifically around the sound card and the CPU central processing unit dust causes static to build up in a computer

The problem on my speakers are that it won't turn on and the light for the volume control won't turn on. can i fix it or do i have to buy a new one ? please contact a.s.a,p thank you

Id try to find another power supply to plug into them with the same voltage. Usually 9-12 volts. Walmart, radio shack, or kmart have universal power supplies you can purchase to test them. Maybe keep the receipt and return it on the chance that it still doesnt work(in which case you'll need a new set of speakers).

[email protected] purchased Dell Desk top 580S C13 W7HB from Vijay Sales on 6th June 2010. Got it installed by a friend as I am a senior citizen needing advice on operations also. Generally OK but sound...

The speakers inside desktop computers (if it has one) are very small and do not produce a reasonable volume.
I suggest you purchase a powered stereo speakers and connect it to the audio out connector on the desktop computer. Powered speakers have better sound quality and adjustable volume controls as well as bass and treble controls.

Hello, I am looking for spare parts for my Creative Labs Inspire T5400 speaker system. 1. Volume Control 2. Power Supply Adpapter 13.5v

robert_cobb

Creative used to sell the replacement volume controls on there site but I guess they stopped selling them.

So what I would do is select your product at http://support.creative.com/

Then click on Contact Us

Next click on My problem is not listed

This will get you to email support. Send them an email stating that you need a replacement volume control and powersupply. They will ether refer you to Customer Service or to the RMA department to get a replacement.

Let me know if you have any more problems or questions
