My redial button on my cordless phone does not work. I need the numbers that were just dialed and the only way to retrieve then would be to hit the redial button, but the button does not work...I am thinking there must be something wrong with the rubber stuff underneath... everything else works just fine... the phone is an older model with the SN BT100742152 3658 B 5.6 GHz... I don't know how to take off the face to look at the inside of the phone....I took out two screws but that's as far as I was able to get... help :)

SOURCE: Static on Cordless Phone after Power Outage

First try plugging the unit in and out a couple of times. If that doesn't fix the problem then check the battery packs on the phone units. BTW I meant to plug and unplug power to the base unit. If these solutions don't work then most probable cause is an audio component failure due to the voltage surge on power up. This is normally when most electronics will fail. Hope this helps.

Messages aren't stored in your phone, they're stored in your account. You need to call your phone provider.

My phone dials too fast. The only way I can dial a number is by taking it off the hook and manually dialing after I hear the dial tone. If I use Caller ID, redial, directory, or putting in the number...

I had the same problem with a model 6325-4. Worked fine for the first week. Then, tone dial with redial, directory, etc was too fast for system to register the number.
Called Vtech support. After a 15 hold, 5 minute explanation and tech listening to a reproduction of problem over the phone, she asked that I perform a complete system reset (I called via my cell).
I unplugged power from base first, then removed battery from all hand sets. Powered down for ~3 minutes (with tech waiting on line the entire time).
I powered up base first and then reconnected all handsets. Selected a handset at random and performed the same dial from directory test I had done just before power down. The thing worked again. Call went through just fine. Tried several other selections in directory with same positive results. Now, if the system just stays stable and working.
Hope this helps..

How do I insert a pause when dialing a number? For instance, when using a calling card with PIN-less dialing for international calls, I first dial a local access number, wait for a response (details of...

Look carefully on your phone's keypad. You should find one of the multi-purpose buttons labelled "Pause" possibly in white text on the body of the phone. It may be the same button marked redial. If you push this button while programing a phone number into the phone book, it will show a "P" on the screen. This will insert a pause when your number is being dialed.

Where is the redial button on my KX-A144ES

you need to press the interlocking circles button on the handset (in the centre at the top) to show the last number dialled (incidentally, you can now press the down arrow to scroll through previous dialled numbers).

When you get to the one you want, simply press the green handset button to dial the number displayed.

That's last number re-dial in 2 steps (there is no single click solution)

Owners Manuals are missing after the office remodel

Redial is used by pressing the redial button to access the stored numbers, each press brings up another number. To dial the number you want hit the # key. i.e. to dial a number you called 3 phone call ago you press 'redial', then 'redial', then 'redial' followed by '#'.
