u must've mean THERMAL cut off fuse?
The fuse cut off power to HEAT up ur rice cooker, changing it w/ the same temp code will fix ur rice cooker!
My sharp rice cooker doesnt ON/heat recently. upon checking I suspect the thermal fuse was the culprit since I got no continuity. I bypass all the circuit and straightaway connect the heating element to the AC supply and it's heating. I have read somewhere that the heating element should close to 0 ohm, but mine about 115 Ohm. is my heating element is ok on that reading?
The heating element has resistance to make it work as it heats up!
The coil is still good! Check on the contact points and if ur rice cooker is electronic, check the POWER TRANSISTORS!
